Webhooks
This is technically part of our API, but we rolled this out separately because we could. If you want to get data collected from chatbots on our platform into some other platform, the other platform should provide you with an endpoint URL where to send data and we'll send data collected in JSON format to that endpoint. You'll find Webhooks in Bot Settings > General.

I take the webhook feature here was created to not only capture data from GSheets but also from any 3rd party API source, but my question is can it write to it, just like you do to GSheets?
Use case: I use wordpress and a booking plugin - have the necessary APIs and would like to tie this into chat, on addition to GSheets? Possible?

The webhook is to take the data a chatbot collects and send it directly to a third party application other than Google Sheets, like a Booking system. The system would need an endpoint to accept data in JSON format.
As for having data like available times in a booking system, you could use something like Zapier to get "Available" days/times into Google Sheets. A user might want to book an appointment, and it will search the sheet for an available time. It could ask them if they want to book for a certain day time, you'll capture that data, and using a Webook get the data right into a booking system

It's open for access (in Bot Settings), but it's still in progress. What should we add to it? Time/Date stamp? A summary of the conversation?
